I know its not IH, but thought I would offer it here in case anyone knows someone looking for a very decent truck for cruising, or a tow rig. I just dont have a use for it. It runs VERY good. 1998 vortech 454, Edelbrock intake and carb., rebuilt Turbo 400 with B&M shift kit and cooling fin pan. Rebuilt dana 70 with 3:54 gears for better cruising and economy. Suspension is lowered with belltech? 3 inch spindles and 3/4 ton chevy springs front and rear with rear drop shackles too.

Interior is nice. Needs a headliner. All gauges ect work. Factory tach, chevy guys know how rare the tach option is.  Bench seats. A/C worked last summer,  but needs the brand new compressor and dryer that I have not yet installed but is included with truck.

New belts, oil change, service, new (3 weeks ago)tires in front. Brand new dual exhaust with flowmasters. sounds out of this world. Loud enough to turn heads, but quiet enough to have a normal conversation in the cab without shouting.

Needs the correct front shocks installed.
Needs the passenger side fuel tank filler hose installed.

Body is in excellent shape. no dents. no rust. all the trim is there. Bed is off a different truck so could use a paint job to make it more presentable closer than 15 ft.

I have driven this truck a fair amount and let me tell you it does runs fantastic. Gets pretty decent mileage, and cruises at a good RPM for those longer hauls. Would make a great rig for someone. This truck is far from crap. All work has been done right and no corners have been cut. No loose wires or hoses that go to no where that are typical with improper motor swaps/work. Its clean under the hood.

Might be interested in trades, but would prefer cash because I need to invest in a few things for my new shop....mainly a door.  Grin

$3000 is fair for this truck, but would take $2000 cash or make me an offer. Trust me, you wont offend me unless you offer me $1 bob. Just dont have any love for it in my life right now.

I also have a 1987 reg cab dually for parts. Will sell whole, or part, or throw it in on the deal.

More pics available. Clean clear title in hand.

"...I know its not IH"...

It's ok - we know you own an IH.  As long as it's not Heeps of Toys.  Lips sealed

Life is not a journey to the grave with intentions of arriving safely in a pretty. well-preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, worn out and loudly proclaiming..."WOW! What a ride!"

Actually once this is gone, MY sole modes of transportation will be all International Harvesters.

With the exception of Krista's Yukon...but technically...thats her's.  Grin

Update:

Still for sale but I have been using it to help me move in my new shop. So I went ahead and fixed the A/C and replaced the compressor, dryer, orific tube, so now it blows cold and works good. Even though Im currently using it...its still for sale.

THIS TRUCK IS SOLD.......
