Got the following parts for sale\trade\whatever

  • $260 Sears Frigi-king Air Conditioning setup for a Scout II: This is a complete aftermarket AC setup for a Scout.  No idea how old it is, though I'm guessing it was new when the Scout was new.   The cool thing about it, is that it takes up less room under the dash than the IH setup.  Comes with blower, vents, compressor, pulley, condensor and as an added bonus, some miscelaneous hoses.   It was already pulled from the Scout when I bought it.   Seems relatively pointless with no top.

  • $50 (SPF) Scout SSII doors:  These are the lower half of the doors only, and are VERY weathered.   All hardware is there, but the fabric\window material will need to be replaced.   Or. they would make an excellent template for a reproduction if you are looking to build your own.

  • $50 (SPF) B&M heavy duty Extra Capacity pan for 727 transmission:  This is a cool unit, but I no longer have an automatic.   It's very heavy duty, and allows for significantly more fluid to keep your transmission cooler in the heat.  It has been professionally trimmed and tig welded to allow for driveshaft clearance on a Scout with SOA or other large suspension lift.

  • $10 727 inspection plate cover

  • $10 727 Dipstick tube and Dipstick

  • $10 Dipstick tube and dipstick from a scout II 345.

  • $25 set of XLC spring packs.  All 4 corners.   I believe these to be XLC packs, though they might be an older 2" lift.   The Scout they came out of did sit higher than most stock Scouts I've seen\owned, but not by much.  Each of the two rear packs has a cracked leaf, but would be fine for mixing and matching your own packs or else Valley spring in Phx can easily replace the cracked leafs.

  • $25 Scout II factory skid plate for 20 gallon gas tank

  • $50 Set of interior panels (right and left side) for hard top. Good condition.

  • $10 Factory Steering Wheel from '77 Scout II

  • Free Little Tiny steering wheel. Some kind of aftermarket wheel.  Dunno what it is, came in the back of one of my Scouts when I bought it.   A little smaller than an SSII style wheel.  Good for driving with handcuffs on.

  • Free Scout 80\800 side mirror. Chrome is a little pitted, and the mirror has silvered with age.  But it's original and its free. I believe it is about '66 vintage.

I would.   I'll put your name on it.  Do you want me to hold it till the next meeting?   Or would you like to pick it up?

Cool. thanks.

If you aren't in a hurry, I can wait till next meeting. Or, if it works out for both of us, and I have time, I might be able to swing by this Sunday and get it. Depends on my wife and if I  can swing it with our schedule. It will be a fast trip, but let me know if your available.

Either way.  I'll be pretty close to the house all weekend because I am on-call, so if you are in the tempe area and want to swing by, just give me a shout.   (My phone is 480-205-3267)

Otherwise, I've been holding on to this for over two years, another month isn't going to kill me.  Grin

LOL. Yep...it was about 2 years ago. I was eyeballing it back when me and Paul came over and picked up those SS2 door flares from ya.

Sully,

I would be interested in the Scout 800 mirror.  I can stop by your house sometime (Tempe), or I can meet you at the next meeting. Let me know.

Thanks,

Mark Guatney

Mark,
It's yours.   It's not going anywhere, you are welcome to stop by, let me know when.  Otherwise I can bring it with me to the next meeting. Smiley
