What Lowell said! You will not be 30-something forever . It is a long run in a thunderstorm. The washtub will be real handy next time you have a transmission pan dump ATF. Russ

YEa. Car lift is coming. I can never, ever work on the ground again because its got me so spoiled. I got a friend coming out to look at ideas for a mezanine, and Ill let everyone one know the fate of the bathroom. It doesnt have a shower, just toilet and wash tub. Maybe I should keep it in case I ever have to sleep or live in my man cave for any reasons. Of course, Krista doesnt get mad at me as much anymore since Ive slowed down buying Binders. I really want to get the end enclosed and bay doors installed. Even though the large opening is really nice, I rather have security and keep the dust out. Only problem is my budget....I am on a very tight budget and I'll have to do everything one project at a time and as money permits. I am still cleaning up junk in the back of the shop. Luckily I have use of my brothers backhoe to help haul trash off. My dads been helping me a little too. I also got the water hooked back up yesterday and I think I have a huge water leak somewhere because I have no water pressure and I swear I can hear water gushing under the floor near the bathroom. Not good. It starting raining like hell so I had to post pone stuff until after work today. The PO left me a huge mess to clean up before I can fully move in. There are piles of bricks and mobile home tongues. 38 of them. Anyone need a few mobile home tongues for anything? I am getting ready to build a medium duty tow dolly. I could use a mobile home tongue, maybe. My plan is to use two trailer axles so that the weight capacity will be higher. I just haven't figured out what kind of hitch to use. I was thinking pintle, but I haven't carved ... er, welded it in stone.

The new shop is 4 scouts deep and 3 scouts wide. I thought you guys would get a kick out of that. I do most my measureing with scouts or scout parts. I'll save ya one Allen. I got a buddy in Wilcox that does auctions and he is getting ready to have a auction here in Safford next month at the fairgrounds, so Ill probably have him sell them for me there. But I will set one to the side for ya. I think the tow dolly is a great idea. I was trying to think of things to build out of them. I also have 2-3 mobile home axles sitting out there. 2 with brakes and 1 without. I dont have any good tires, but can still source them from my brother new for $40 iirc. Keep the bathroom! The first time you really gotta go but really don't want to stop what you're in the middle of for 10 minutes, you'll be grateful. Man there a bunch a people on here with IBS.....either that or we just really, really love bathrooms. J/K...Thats why I posted this thread....I appreciate all feedback and suggestions. Expecially when I get further into renovations. Thanks and keep 'em coming.

I could use the wheels and tires. What's the chance of getting some up to Helena somehow or other so she can bring them up here Labor Day weekend? She can come pick them up and pay for them and bring a tarp or blankets or something to use as a bed liner. Cory Smith has some axles set aside for me up here, but no wheels.

At least you all have the option of going around the corner outside! I could, but my white arse would be a flag saying, "look at this"... Ha! no IBS yet, not for me anyway. I just don't know how many times I have been working knee-deep on something in my garage and I have to pee, but of course I can't get to my garage bathroom because it is blocked by [insert everything you can think of here] so I have to go inside (and it's a lot closer than 60 yards!). But my hands are covered in grease and my wife will kill me if I don't wash them. Crap, my boots are filthy and she just cleaned the floors! Just one of many real-life examples of why your man cave bathroom is sacred

Life is not a journey to the grave with intentions of arriving safely in a pretty. well-preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, worn out and loudly proclaiming..."WOW! What a ride!"

UPDATE: Got a couple good loads hauled in this weekend and some more cleaning done thanks to some awesome help. Krista busted her back(literally) helping me move into my man cave. It is rare a get a weekend with her to myself, so it was awesome to have her and the girls helping me all weekend. Thursday afternoon we had a freak micro burst hit the place. My brother had some really nice carports he used to park equipment under. These are located behind, and to the east of my shop. The micro burst destroyed the awnings. Uprooted cemented supports and chucked them like broken toothpicks into my backyard approx 60 yards away. luckily no one was hurt. It did nick my shop, but didnt cause any major damage that needs any repair. My dads carport down the street recieved the same treatment as well as a few full grown trees were uprooted. Word is, we got almost 4 in of rain in 2 days. Shes all cleaned up and old news now. The more of my stuff I move in, the more I realize this open end shop thingy isnt going to work for very long. Yes, its nice and convienent, but for room and what I need it for, I have no choice but to enclose it, and try to sooner than I had hoped. I need to raise some cash...Keep your eyes open for some of my favorite things that are going up for sale soon. I just can have an open, uninsulated shop. And I have decided (need)to sacrifice some items I thought werent previously for sale, but I gotta do, what I gotta do. Anyway, I got about half my tools moved, and the tools are going into the fenced area obviously until I can get everything arranged properly. Got the heart of any man cave moved...the IH fridge. Man I love that thing. Its so nice to open it up and grab a beverage of your choice and its so cold it has ice floaties in the beverage. Cant describe the awesomeness of that feature on a hot day. Bathroom is still up. And have decided to keep it.....for as long as it isnt taking up precious room. For now, it is not ...so it stays. For a little while, I lost 3 of my workers. I soon found them. They stripped their clothes off and...well, Pictures speak 1000 words. I alsmost broke down and joined them as humid as it was. Hopefully this week I can get the remainder of my tools and hopefully get my car lift and compressor moved in.
