Camping

Historically we've been able to give all of our attendees the opportunity to camp on site however, this year is different and that is not possible due to the location and size of the venue for the event. This event is in a national forest and other non event campers will also be in this area. We recommend you make your accommodation reservations as soon as possible.

Venue Camping

Due to the limited space camping will be restricted at the venue group site to tents or single vehicle campers only. It will be limited to the first 30 registrants.  If you purchase a site when you register, the area that is available to you will be limited. Individual spots cannot be assigned. Just as in years past its a first come first serve basis. You park or pitch your tent based on what patch of dirt is available. Hookups for electrical, water, etc. are not available. This is a primitive campground.

We will have a large community tent for shade set up to provide shade and act as gathering spot over the course of the weekend. (Chairs will not be provided so bring your camping chair and sit a spell to take a load off!) Parking or camping within 40 feet on either side of the community tent is not permitted.

There is day use and day parking areas for the public who wish to join us for the day and not overnight. Mingus lake is a 2 minute drive and Trail 106 day use parking area is a 4 min drive from the venue. If you have any questions or concerns please contact us in advance of your registration.

Venue Concerns

Every year we do our best to organize, plan and provide a fun, family orientated event. There is a tremendous amount of planning, time, energy and effort that goes into hosting this annual event. Our goal is to provide a fun filled weekend for everyone that attends. This year the event is in a completely new location. We do our best to be explicitly clear of what to expect. Despite this we are not able to consider every detail so you may have some concerns or questions. We encourage you reach out on social media, email, phone etc. and we'll do our best to answer them. We want you to be aware of what to prepare for but not intimidated of something that is completely brand new. If you've been to one of our events in the past you know how big of a family our group is. Everyone is watching out and taking care of one another to ensure our family tradition continues for years to come.
