General Information
AZAZIHR is a premier national gathering of International Harvester owners and their vehicles. The three-day event features an IH vehicle show, swap meet, vehicle games, a group dinner and trail runs. All makes and models of IH vehicles are welcome!
Join us this year for a weekend of fun at Apache Junction Rodeo Grounds on the outskirts of the Phoenix metro area. If you are a skilled enough driver games include a RTI ramp, Teeter Totter and slow drags
With beautiful weather, plentiful shady off-road trails to challenge everything from stock to extreme vehicles, and plentiful camp and RV spots, AZIHR will be a top destination for IH enthusiasts from all over the country.

Apache Junction Rodeo Grounds
Set against the Superstition Mountains and bathed in warm Arizona winter sun, the Apache Junction Rodeo Grounds are the perfect home for your Arizona International Harvester Rendezvous. There will be all kinds of Scouts, Travelalls, Terra's, Travelers, Pickups, and classic IH trucks with new and old facies, families, friends, and fans wandering the grounds, swapping stories, parts, and road-trip plans.
The open arena and surrounding event space give us room for show-and-shine, swap meet treasures, vendors, food, kids’ activities, and plenty of spae to hang out and laugh with old and new friends. It’s a uniquely Arizona experience: blue skies, red rock views, and a laid-back western vibe that makes it easy to forget about snow shovels and icy roads back home.
Whether you’re driving your first Scout or just coming for the day, the Apache Junction Rodeo Grounds turn the Rendezvous into a true IH family reunio a place where people from all over the U.S. come to escape the cold, enjoy the sun, and celebrate their passion for International Harvester together.

On-Site Camping/RV
On-site camping and RV is available for a fee of $25 per family for the weekend
Camp fee can be paid to Sonora Desert Scouts on-site at the event or online.
No pre-registration is required for a campsite. First come, first served.
Camping Amenities:
Drinking Water, Toilets, Hiking, Pets Allowed, Picnic Tables,
No RV hookups are available on-site.
Other Accomodations
Hotel Accommodations are available in Apache Junction, AZ, one mile from the campsite.
Area Activities
When you’re not hanging out at the Rendezvous, Apache Junction turns into your winter playground.
Just minutes from the rodeo grounds you can:
Hike the Superstition Mountains & Lost Dutchman State Park – Miles of desert trails, saguaro forests, and big red rock views, all under clear blue skies.
Explore Goldfield Ghost Town – A rebuilt 1890s mining camp with mine tours, gunfight shows, a narrow-gauge train, museums, shops, ice cream, and saloons.
Cruise the Apache Trail (SR-88) – A classic scenic drive past canyon walls and desert lakes, perfect for a day trip or photo run with your rig.
Hit the Water at Canyon Lake – Boat rentals, fishing, and lake cruises surrounded by dramatic cliffs and desert scenery.
In town you’ll find local diners, BBQ joints, breweries, and live music, plus plenty of RV parks and campgrounds that cater to winter visitors. Come for the International Harvester family, stay for the warm sun, open desert, and classic Old West Arizona vibes—all an easy escape from snow, slush, and freezing temps back home.

Directions Coming From:
- From Phoenix / West Valley: Take US-60 East toward Mesa/Globe, exit Idaho Rd (AZ-88) and go north, then turn right on E Lost Dutchman Blvd and follow it to the rodeo grounds.
- From Tucson (South): Take I-10 West toward Phoenix, then US-60 East toward Mesa/Globe. Exit Idaho Rd (AZ-88), go north, then right on E Lost Dutchman Blvd.
- From Flagstaff (North): Take I-17 South toward Phoenix, then Loop 101 to US-60 East toward Mesa/Globe. Exit Idaho Rd (AZ-88), go north, then right on E Lost Dutchman Blvd.
- From Globe (East): Take US-60 West toward Phoenix and exit at Tomahawk Rd. Go north on Tomahawk Rd to E Lost Dutchman Blvd—the rodeo grounds are right at the intersection.
